TDEE Calculator - Total Daily Energy Expenditure
Calculate your daily calorie needs based on your activity level and body metrics.
Understanding Your TDEE
Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) represents the total number of calories your body burns throughout the day. It consists of:
Components of TDEE
- Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) - Calories burned at rest
- Thermic Effect of Food (TEF) - Calories burned digesting food
- Exercise Activity (EA) - Calories burned during workouts
- Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT) - Daily movement calories
Using Your TDEE Results
To maintain your current weight, consume calories equal to your TDEE. For weight loss, create a moderate deficit of 500 calories below your TDEE. For weight gain, add 500 calories to your TDEE.
