Body Mass Index (BMI)
BMI is a simple measure that uses your height and weight to work out if your weight is healthy. The BMI calculation divides an adult's weight in kilograms by their height in metres squared.
Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)
BMR represents the minimum amount of energy (calories) your body needs to carry out basic life-sustaining functions while at rest. This includes breathing, blood circulation, cell production, and other vital processes.
Body Fat Percentage
Body fat percentage is the amount of fat tissue in your body compared to lean tissue and other body components. This measurement is more accurate than BMI for determining healthy body composition.
